The role
Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Revenue Manager, a pivotal role in shaping Orion's revenue strategy and driving market innovation. You'll provide strategic leadership in revenue setting and recovery, guiding pricing and connection charge strategies, supporting regulatory change, and influencing national industry projects. Your ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, lead teams through change, and develop innovative financial models will ensure Orion remains at the forefront of the energy transition.
Collaborating across the business, you'll oversee revenue recovery, pricing structures, and compliance while driving market innovation to support Orion's commercial objectives. With a focus on forecasting and stakeholder engagement, you'll play a key role in developing strategies that drive sustainable growth and industry leadership. If you excel at solving complex challenges, enjoy working with cross-functional teams, and have a keen eye for financial strategy, this is the role for you.
Actively role model and lead cross functional advisory and collaboration
Lead strategic insight and direction for pricing and connection charge strategies and roadmaps
Accountable for the contractual relationship with Retailers
Ensure compliance with principles and regulations set by the Electricity Authority and Commerce Commission
Provide subject matter expertise around pricing policy and its application
About you
Previous experience in leadership of people and organisational strategy
Extensive knowledge in forward-thinking regulatory economics and practice including economic or mathematical modelling or econometrics
Good conflict resolution skills and proven ability to influence outcomes
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build lasting positive relationships
A strategic thinker with high attention to detail ensuring accuracy and consistency
